Falafels à la Coriandre Cultivée

Cultivated Coriander Falafels

Embark for a meal on a taste trip to Lebanon with this falafel recipe!


  • 200g of chickpeas
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 bunch of fresh Cultivated Coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon sweet pepper
  • 20 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper


  • Put the chickpeas in a bowl, cover them with water and leave to soak for 24 hours
  • Dry them well
  • Coarsely chop the onion and garlic, pour them into the bowl of a blender, add the chickpeas, Cultivated Coriander and spices
  • Shape into walnut-sized balls
  • Pour the oil into a sauté pan and heat it
  • Gently place the balls of dough in the oil
  • Fry them for 5 minutes
  • Serve hot
