The Amo vegetable garden is delivered already assembled, in its own unique box.
It comprises the following components:
- the vegetable garden with its casing, a RAL 9005 steel front and RAL 9005 lacquered glass door
- a water-tank with a growing tray
- 16 baskets in which to plant your Growing Pods
- 16 Growing Pods of the varieties of your choice
- 1 instruction manual

The Amo vegetable garden is extremely easy to set up. As soon as you receive it, take it out of its box, taking care not to damage the glass door. Plug it in, press the ON button and fit it into the kitchen unit. Secure it to the base of the cabinet using the 4 screws provided. Fill the water-tank to the maximum level. Install your Growing Pods according to our recommendations, then close the door! Your first crops are already on their way.

Apart from filling the water-tank, which lasts for 3 weeks, all the necessary adjustments are made automatically:
- The temperature is controlled by a dedicated sensor. The fan is activated at 3 different speeds depending on the temperature to ensure that the plants always have the ideal temperature for their growth.
- Humidity is controlled by a dedicated sensor. The fan is activated at 3 different speeds depending on the humidity detected, to ensure that the plants always have the ideal humidity for their growth.
- The light is set on a 14 hours ON, 10 hours OFF cycle, which means that the LED panel will be switched on for 14h, then off for 10h and on again for 14h... The start of the cycle can be selected by pressing the push button at the time of your choice. The LED panel has been tailor-made to provide the right spectrum and intensity for all our varieties at different stages of growth.
- The water level is monitored by a sensor inside the water-tank. When the water level is too low, the blue light inside the drop on the front panel comes on. This simply means that you need to refill the water-tank up to the maximum level.
- Irrigation takes place naturally, thanks to the hydroponic technology we've developed. The roots of the plants will grow through the Growing Pod and drink what they need directly from the water-tank. To avoid stagnant water and improve the oxygen supply to the roots, an ultra-quiet pump is activated regularly to optimise the growth of your plants.

The water-tank in the vegetable garden is a recycled plastic container that fills up to a maximum level line, visible on the front of the container ("Max."). The roots of the varieties will then develop by drawing the amount of water they need directly from this reservoir, according to their stage of development.

The spots are numbered from 1 to 16 and are linked to the free Urban Cuisine mobile app, which advises you on how to position your plants according to the varieties you choose, to ensure you get the best yields.

No. Once plugged in, our Amo vegetable garden lights up the plants for 14 hours a day (which corresponds to the sun's natural cycle), then switches off automatically for 10 hours and lights up again. You don't need to do anything to the garden once it's properly installed. All you have to do is plant your Growing Pods and enjoy the harvest.

Thanks to its 3-week autonomy, you can leave your indoor vegetable garden running while you're on holiday and come back to harvest your fresh fruit and vegetables. Just make sure that the water level is at its maximum, so that your plants can be irrigated while you're away! If the vegetable garden is empty when you leave, you can turn it off and on again when you return.
